A genuine vintage French botanical chart 'Leaf Blotch', framed in a beautiful solid oak frame to add a touch of vintage to your home.
This print was used in French schools and was part of a boxset of vintage prints which were used in the biology lessons. This print depicts the leaf blotch fungus, an infection of the leaves of horse chestnuts by the fungus Guignardia aesculi, which causes irregular brown blotches, often with yellow margins.
On the back of the print there is a full explanation and description of the tree in French.
This handmade plate was screenprinted in 1958 and we have one in stock.
